Father’s Day – This Sunday at church is huge  – there will be a special little gift for every man at church today as we would like to celebrate all our men, but especially dads and grandads and great granddads.  In a society that often disparages masculinity, we want to affirm it  as one of God’s gifts and encourage our men to express their potential as God would have them.  Ultimately though, all dads will fall short of the perfect father that God is towards His children.

Confirmation last Sunday night  – thank you to all who supported it and especially to Stephen Leitch and our catering team.  Over 80 attended.

Parish Council – donated $2,000 to the new 2017 Kirrawee Primary chaplain Manda Waddington AND they have also applied for a grant to renovate Busy Bees Hall.  PC would appreciate your prayers for these.

Thanks for supporting our August Building Fund Appeal –  despite many generous gifts we are still well short of our $35,000 target, with $23,210 so far.  Gifts will still be accepted.  Please pray we will reach our target.
