Welcome to our church today
It’s great to share with you at church today. Please make yourself known to our staff if you are visiting.

Caring for Families
There are so many pressures on marriages and families these days – with high soring rents and mortgages, raised expectations, sexualisation of children, screen ubiquity, denigration of traditional family & marriage and the list goes on.

I’m grateful therefore to the organisers of these three support events for marriages and families:

Fractured Families – Understanding the Issues at the Cathedral
On 24 February, Mothers Union Sydney is sponsoring a seminar to be held in the Cathedral Chapter House. The speakers are Rob and Claire Smith, and Dominic Steele. A Bible Talk will be given by Archdeacon Kara Hartley, from Sutherland. This seminar aims to:
1.    Help people cope when it all becomes too much.
2.    Consider how to respond when someone we love chooses a different lifestyle.
3.    Will suggest where forgiveness fits.
4.    Deal with the question – what would Christ have me do?
The seminar is from 10:00am to 1:30pm followed by lunch. There is no charge but registration is essential. For further details contact Mothers Union office 8030-8970 or email office@musydney.org.au. I have attended a number of these Mothers Union events in the past and found them enormously valuable and accessible.

Our New Member Care Network is up and running … are you connected?
Last November, after an extensive assessment, Parish Council decided to move from CCB/Mychurch system to Elvanto for our member care. This includes our members data base, rolls, directories and group connections. The new system will enable
online registration & payment, as well as easier management of our Sunday services. But there are always teething issues with any change. So we seek your patience. Please contact Matthew Robson or Paul Archer for any suggestions or queries. Please register for Elvanto on our church website … it take 1-2 minutes and can be done from your computer, tablet or phone,
Your brother in Christ, Graham
