Thank you to all who contributed to the renovation and the occasion of its opening. We are grateful to the late Gwen Wylie for her bequest and the NSW government who each contributed $7,000 to fund the renovations.

Refugee Hosting Update
It’s hoped that a lease will soon be finalised on the rental of 133 Gymea Bay Road to Anglicare for a period of 2 years for refugee families. The proposed rental will be $575pw. This will be met by the refugee family and Anglicare donors. Anglicare will supply the family with a case worker, trauma and financial counselling, as well as some $1000’s worth of electrical products. The parish is responsible for providing all other furnishings, linen, cutlery and crockery etc. We have already received wonderful donations for the family but ask members to wait till we know the make up of the family and their needs before any further donations are made. Electrical, building and plumbing upgrades will be made. We will rely on our church members to volunteer to clean, paint, garden and tidy. If you can help please see George Ward who is coordinating this. A list of jobs can be found on the church notice board.
Life Group Leaders Meeting – Will be held on Sunday 16th July at 2.30-3.45pm. Craig will give a short overview of the Book of Revelation which will be of great value to leaders whether or not they choose to study this classic book. The meeting will be held in the Ken Roughley Hall.
