GymPhoto of front of churchea Anglican Church is located at 131 Gymea Bay Road, Gymea. It is easy to get to by car or by train. There is plenty of parking on site, as well as on the street and on the vacant block opposite the church.


Sunday 7:45am

This is a traditional Anglican church service that follows the liturgy in the Australian Prayer book. The service consists of traditional hymns, prayers, Bible readings and a sermon (usually around 20mins). Communion is celebrated each week.


Sunday 9:30am

This is a contemporary worship service, designed for adults and families. The service consists of a mix of modern songs and hymns together with prayers, Bible readings and a sermon (usually around 20 mins). The service runs for approximately 1 hour and morning tea is held after the service in the back hall. Communion is held once a month. A parents’ room is available for parents to care for babies and toddlers while still being able to listen to the service. A crèche is available for children aged 3-5 years old. Kid’s church is held in the back halls during our 9:30am service for kids in Kindergarten to Year 6. It is a fun time where the kids do craft, play games, sing songs, read the Bible and pray.


Sunday 4pm

This is a more informal service, held in our back hall and is designed for younger families and those wanting a more laid back atmosphere. The service includes songs, prayers, Bible readings and a Bible Talk (approximately 20 mins). Once a month a communion service is held in our main church building. The service runs for approximately 1 hour and is followed by supper. A crèche is available for children aged 3-5 years old. Kid’s church is held for kids in Kindergarten to Year 6. It is a fun time where the kids do craft, play games, sing songs, read the Bible and pray.


Sunday 6pm

This service is designed for the youth, young adults and young at heart. It is a celebration service with lots of singing, together with prayers, Bible readings and a sermon (approximately 20mins). The service runs for approximately 1 hour and is followed by supper in the back hall.


Tuesday 9:30am (Term time only)

This is a quiet, traditional service led by several ministers and is designed for anyone that would like a mid-week service.
