Time to Enjoy Church Again …
The government has been reducing restrictions on gatherings as we learn to live with Covid. Over the last few weeks many of our regular GAC families have taken advantage of these opportunities to join us at church at either 8am, 10am or 5pm. We have re-commenced morning tea after our morning services and a team of volunteers provide dinner for children at our 5pm service.
As from November 8th we are permitted 2 sq m per person, which means we can have full occupancy of our buildings and vaccinated only people may sing with everyone wearing facemasks. Restrictions will be further eased by 15th December.
We no longer need to book for any of our regular services.
We invite you to join us on 5th December for a BYO picnic in the church grounds. This is a great opportunity to invite families to re-connect, especially those who have not made it to church yet.
You’ll find some invitations to the Picnic in the bulletin, and available at church. Please take several and invite friends and neighbours to join us as well! Whatever Service you usually attend, do join us on this occasion to catch up and share with one another.
See page 5 for more details.
We have some invitations to our Christmas services to help you invite friends and neighbours. Could you take several extra invitations and give to your neighbours and invite them to celebrate with us.
Sunday Services over Summer
Since we’ve recommenced church with services at 8am, 10am and 5pm, and we usually have 3 summer services over January, we have decided to continue with 3 services to the end of January. If you would like to comment, please get in touch with Michael Blake (0418 415 097, or email).
Looking forward to meeting with you on Sunday,
Michael Blake, Acting Rector
