You’re welcome …

Many of us have delighted in being able to enjoy meeting together at church.   Now that over 90% of the NSW population has been fully vaccinated everyone is welcome to meet for church, and with the easing of building occupancy restrictions we are now able to accommodate our usual numbers.

So if you have not returned to church yet, I encourage you to do so!

We had a survey towards the end of lockdown in which a significant number responded that they intended to wait to December before returning to church.   It may be that you still feel apprehensive about coming – if so, can I invite you to share your concern about returning with myself or one of the Wardens – we’d be very pleased to hear your concerns.

We have a family picnic planned for 5th December (details on page 5 in this bulletin).   You are most welcome to join us then, and that may be a helpful opportunity for you to recommence meeting with us.

If you feel disconnected, or anxious about coming, please contact us – we are very much aware that the last 2 years have been very difficult and have affected all of us in various ways.   Do remember that the way God has made us is as people in society – we need to gather with others.   The picture we have of heaven in Revelation is of “… a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.   They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.   And they cried out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to out God who sits on the Throne and to the lamb.” (Revelation 7:9-10).   God has made you for fellowship with himself and with one another.  We welcome you!

Looking forward to meeting with you,

Michael Blake, Acting Rector.
